Student Recognition, Staff Appreciation, Community Events, and Fundraising
Join the LTS-Gilbert PVO (Parent Volunteer Organization)! We are a group of parents and family members who devote our time to volunteer as an essential support system for our school community. Our efforts are dedicated to four areas of support: Student Recognition, Staff Appreciation, Community Events, and Fundraising. You can help by volunteering and/or making a donation.
Grizzly Store:
The Grizzly Store takes our positive discipline approach to the next level. Students will be able to earn Grizzly Growl Tickets that they can spend at the Grizzly Store which will be opened at least weekly during recess. We need help maintaining inventory and staffing the store.
Community Events:
We like to host at least one community event each quarter. In the past these events have included dances, movie nights, game nights, and food truck events. Future events will be the choice of the committee… let your imagination run wild!
We will also need LOTS of help to make our school carnival a success.
Teacher/Staff Appreciation:
We would like to do something special for the staff at least once a quarter. This is a new idea, so whatever you have in mind would be appreciated!
Ongoing initiatives:
Snacks at monthly all staff meetings, Thankful Thursday gifts, and Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week.
Fundraising:
We have to find a way to fund all these amazing things.
